Feedback on our 2024 Residents' survey has now closed
This survey closed on Sunday 14 July 2024. Thank you to everyone who submitted!
We received over 600 submissions to our Residents survey. Congratulations to Amy, form Amy's Little Dog Spa - winner of the $500 Prezzy Card.
Every year we ask residents for feedback on the services and amenities we provide.
In the past, residents have been randomly selected from the electoral roll to participate in the residents survey. This year, we did things a little differently. We opened up the survey to every resident in the district, so that everyone had an opportunity to tell us how they think we did.
The feedback we receive from the survey each year informs how we do things in the future. It highlights the areas we can improve on and where we might need to direct more focus.
Your feedback was more important than ever this year, as we continue on our transformation journey, which aims to change the way we work for, and with, Waitaki’s communities. The survey results will be a key part of informing what we can do differently.
In previous years, the Residents’ Survey has been carried out in full by independent research group Key Research. This year, we carried out the survey in-house, but with the support of Key Research, who hosted the survey link, independently reviewed the results to ensure our data is robust, and drew the winner of the $500 Prezzy Card!
The results of the survey also form the basis for our performance assessment against the performance measures and targets set in our 2021-31 Long Term Plan, and are reported on in our 2023-24 Annual Report.
